The pillow is wonderful! The covering does not fit it is too small! I bought a king-size set of heavy duty pillow cases which work well. But again the pillow is wonderful !!!I like the comfortMy wife experiences neck pain periodically. She's tried different pillows in different positions to try to help. We really hoped this pillow would work. It seems to be well-constructed. It has a soft and firm zone. The foam itself seems durable. It maintains its shape easily. My wife hates a foam pillow that feels hot after her head rests on it for a while. This one doesn't retain body heat like that. With that said, this pillow doesn't work as described for her. The portion where she puts her neck is too low for her. The pillow is just not thick enough. It tilts the top of her head forward, which she found to be a very uncomfortable position. She's tried it a few times in various positions and always ended up going back to her old pillow during the night. It's great that it's machine washable and comes with a pillow case. Too bad the pillow's mechanics didn't work for my wife. We also feel that it's quite overpriced at almost $100. For those of you keeping score, here's the breakdown:Design- B-Construction- B+Comfort- B-Ease of Care- BValue- C-Overall Grade: B-I like the quality of this pillow, and it's working great for me for TV watching while propped up in bed. The pillowcase is soft and comfortable, the cervical area serves to alleviate constriction, and it also keeps my head supported from rolling from side-to-side. I really appreciate the latter feature, and I didn't realize how much muscle tension it prevented until I used it for a few hours of TV watching. However, I'm strictly a side sleeper, and this one doesn't provide enough shoulder support, and I need to stack it on top of my standard pillow to keep my shoulder from being restricted, and my head held in an ergonomic position. There's a side zippered pouch, and I can only assume that it was designed for either inserting a lavender sachet for relaxation, or as a way for potential retail floor sales customers to feel the internal materials, and the difference between the two types. The cervical area foam is solid and supportive, while the rear two-thirds are foam particles. They're comfortable, but do have a bit of a 'squishy' feel. However, when my head is rested on that area, it's very comfortable. I've been using this for three nights now, and despite having to stack it atop an additional pillow to accommodate my sleep habits, I've slept very soundly, and I wake with none of the usual minor neck stiffness. It cradles my head nicely, and the material feels great.Based on the feel of the materials, I would estimate that this pillow will last perhaps a year before it needs replacing. The fact that it's machine wash and air dry is a plus, and a mesh bag is included for machine washing. I'm really happy with this, but I wish it were a bit thicker for my side sleeping. So, it was alright for a night or two, but the more I laid with it the more uncomfortable it became. It started hurting the back of my head. I'm just not sure it's soft enough for my head. I have such a difficult time picking pillows because I buy hundreds of them and they end up in a corner on the floor or in a closet or someone elses house because I just can't find comfort with them.I think I still have neck pain and shoulder pain. I'm still trying to love it though, so we'll see. I'll give it a little more time and if anything changes, I'll update my review. I don't have high hopes but can still dream. This came well packaged. From pillow, pillow case, even came with laundry bag to launder the pillow, everything shows quality and how careful the manufacturer put in this product. Upon closer inspection, the memory foam appears to be tons of tiny little soft balls together to create the memory foam effect. However, I failed to feel comfortable on it. It was too firm on my neck and shoulder, and I kept a forwarded head position lying on it. I'm not sure if there's a one stop for all pillow for everyone, but for this particular pillow, it didn't work for my sore neck and shoulder. Still ovely product (and made in Korea it looks like? Came in a box written in Korean). When I ordered this, I thought it would be made of pure memory foam, however, upon further inspection I found that it is made with memory foam chunks, which degrade and get misshapen over time. I've used this pillow for about 2 weeks now and my neck pain actually got worse than when I was using my old pillow. it's not very supportive and gets misshapen very easily and quickly, causing you to have to readjust positions or flip the pillow over. I am now using this as a knee pillow to keep between my two legs when sleeping and it works fantastic in that aspect. This pillow is very well made and looks like the design was well thought out. For the price tag I really wanted to love this unfortunately I do prefer my old pillow. I’ve tried using it both ways. My biggest issue is the symptom of finger numbness upon waking which tells me something is definitely out of alignment when I sleep on this pillow. Considering the other very positive reviews, this is probably due to exacerbation of an existing issue that I’ll need to contact my dr about.
