I’ve tried all manner of pillows over the last few years - cheap, expensive, foam, down, soft, firm, one, more than one… you name it. Still, I’d been waking up with a stiff neck almost every morning and then often morph into headaches, for which I’d been eating Excedrin like candy. I decided to try a pillow cube. I couldn’t see why a square pillow would be any better, and I thought they were overpriced, but you get desperate after a wile, you know? Surprise! The FIRST NIGHT after using a Pillow Cube (I got the smaller one) I woke with no stiff neck or headache. And yes, I know - this sounds like a sales pitch but I assure you - I have nothing to gain by posting this. I’m just so happy to be getting better sleep and want to share my “discovery”. I originally had the regular cube, but the “ice cube” sounded intriguing, so I traded it in (Amazon and PillowCube are both really good about returns) and got the supposedly “cool on all sides” one… meh. It’s a little cooler to start, but warms up quick, so unless you want to keep flipping it over the cool thing seems like a gimmick and the cover that makes it cool gets pilly and sheds long threads like spider webs. Oh well. I bought one of PC’s seamless pillow cases to keep it cleaner so it isn’t cool at all anymore anyway. The pillow itself is still great.I mean, it's a pillow. Since I got the ice version I can attest that it is good at staying cool. One huge downside is that the actual casing is not incredibly well made as the material has constantly degraded, allowing me to pull out long strings of material. The foam insert is mediocre at best and while at first I thought it was helping, it was just me being accustomed to it. I use it as a leg pillow now because it does indeed stay cold! I just think that this one's overpriced by a bit too much.Great productterrible heart head and is stiff*EDIT*The pillow is very comfortable and great for side sleeping. It does stay cool which is nice. I tend to roll a lot in my sleep so the size isn’t great. The company did reach out and said they would pass along information about the incorrect photos. For daily use I would recommend getting the larger size, but I’ll definitely travel with this one.Seems like a good pillow haven’t used it yet. The problem is all the pictures on the page for this show the 24” long pillow cube but this is actually for the 12”. It does say that in the product description but every picture shows the larger one.
